家の終わり
The end of a house


これは以前にも発生したパタン・ランゲージであるが、いまではその重要性を新しい観点から指摘できる。風呂の排水口である。人間には二つの種類がある。風呂から生還した者と、風呂から戻らなかった物である。そのあまりの気持ちよさに人であることをやめ、家の排水口を伝って自然そのものになってしまうことが時たま起きるのだ。それゆえに排水口は常には蓋がされているのだ。家と世界とを保つ高貴なバランス肛門が風呂の排水口なのだ。

This is a pattern language that has existed, and now its significance is emphasized from a new viewpoint. It is bath drains. There are two kinds of human beings─those who come back alive from the bath and those who do not. Only occasionally some people stop being human because they feel so comfortable, and so go out along the drainpipe into nature. Therefore, drains have lids. The bath drain is a noble back passage balancing the house and the world.
