Without removing it, nothing starts.


壁がもし動くのだとすれば、それは空間の引き戸となる。その動きにあわせて様々な空間が現れ、様々な機能が形成されるだろう。この大きな戸を動かした時、何かが始まる。壁はその大きさゆえに人々の目前に立ちはだかり、ときには舞台の緞帳とも背景ともなる。

壁に秘密の内部があればそれは“走る廊下”の機能を持ち、めまぐるしく人々が入れ替わることができる。また普段は主人達の帰りを待ち受けているかのように身を潜め、時が来れば開閉され“川向こうの舞台”がその全貌を明らかにする。

If a wall moved, it could be a spatial sliding door. A variety of space will show up in response to its movements, and also different functions will be devised. When this large door is moved, something will start. Because of its large size, the wall will be in the way before us, and at times, it becomes a thick curtain of a theater.

If a wall had a secret space inside, it would function as a “running corridor,” and people could change places with one another rapidly. And it usually hides itself as if it were waiting for its master to come home. It is opened when the time comes, and “a stage across the river” appears in full view.
